LeDu Happy Dumplings & Jianbing in Munich

A small restaurant that meets the demands of Munich. The shop itself as well as the dishes are optically very chic, but I had the feeling that the dumplings are frozen goods, so unfortunately I didn't get my money's worth in terms of taste. The service was still very friendly.

There are many Ledu in Munich, please do not confuse them with the others if you have made an appointment with someone (we had that mistake ;-). The food was very good and cheap.

Very very good food! I'm a big fan of dumplings in general, so this little restaurant is just great. The 10 mixed dumplings are great for finding out which one you like the most for the next time ? This time I had the dumpling steamed, very tasty, and I'm curious how it tastes fried. Service is super nice and the price is just right for what you get! Looking forward to going back soon.

Perfect experience! Very professional, polite and unagitated service as you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. It is also positive that both kitchen and service staff are now wearing the mask consistently (and above all correctly!) During Corona times. The mixed dumplings (10 pieces) have an excellent price-performance ratio and are really a real taste explosion! You can't wait to try the next dumpling straight away and be surprised by the many fine ingredients and spices. The optical preparation of the dumplings is also very elegant (come in a bamboo basket). The dessert (yeast dumplings filled with taro, with mango sauce) was also very tasty, even if it was a bit small. I also really enjoyed the opportunity to watch the preparation in the open kitchen. You can tell that real craftsmanship is at work here and that every dumpling is prepared with love and the greatest care. It can take a little longer for that, but it's really really worth it! It is strongly recommended to use public transport to get here (since Maxvorstadt). 5/5 - I'll be back!

Was first time here, just curious to try and believe me, your curiosity will worth! ??? The price was fair (10 dumplings for 7,90€) and the service was also fast, effective and delivered in a mannered way

The stuff you get for the money you pay is great so all in all great value. Had a great dinner! It’s a little bit too small though for the amount of people going. Meaning it’s very warm and humid (but this is not a factor because of course it’s humid if you steam everything)

Ledu Happy Dumplings is well located, near to Odeonsplatz and the museums. Prices are fair but the dumplings are nothing special, nor rememberable. Just come here if you need to have lunch super quick to continue your visit to Munich.

Great service and delicious dumplings

When I eat well, everything is fine. I'm a bull and I don't need the fingers of one hand to count the important things. It takes much less. Ledu dumplings are delicious and I will go back a thousand more times, as many times as I can.

Very attentive stuff with delicious dumplings at an affordable price. The place is nicely designed and it is not too crowded at lunch time.

I’ve been coming here for a while because of the quick and friendly service, the yummy dumplings and the convenient location. A big selling point for me was always the fact that organic meat was used for the fillings. However, when I visited yesterday I was sad to see that the organic symbols had been covered; on asking why, the owner told me they had to change producers in order to keep their competitive pricing. Obviously it is a personal decision, but I would have much preferred a slight increase in prices in order to keep the meat organic!

Nice little place for a good lunch. Assortment of dumplings is a good option to taste them all.

Exceptional food and service!

Nice staff, spoke in Chinese to me right away which was funny (did not understand a word). I was the only guest so it didn’t take too long for my food to arrive. Price is reasonable for Munich standards. Food was good which I’d recommend when around but it was not mind blowing.

Very Delicious! But I'd expect to get full for a 8,40€ lunch. I had to go to the bakery afterwards...

can't remember the flavours but i tried both the fried and steamed dumpings, which were equally delicious. the staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. however, the place was small and had little seats so i would recommend to visit during off-peak timings or opt for takeaway
